As we go into the further stages of relaxation of Lockdown rules, I am reassessing my clinical work every day. Working online with clients continues with great results, but I have not returned to the treatment room yet.
From a physical point of view, I feel confident that the safety of my clients can be protected due to the precautions in place but from a kinesiology standpoint, I don’t feel it appropriate to return at this point in time.
Close contact with clients is necessary to give an effective kinesiology treatment and the wearing of a visor and mask along with gloves does not feel conducive to a good experience for my clients. It creates a barrier both physically and energetically. As yet the Government guidelines do not permit massage therapists, nail bars etc to return to work and my work falls in that business sector.
